To apply for a position, please complete the three steps below.

1. Create Your Account
Begin by registering above and completing all required fields.
For your security, you will be asked to complete a two-factor authentication.
Please note: If you were previously employed by Fayette County Public Schools, but do not have a YOSS account, select “No” to begin registration.

2.  Complete Your Application
Once logged in to YOSS, navigate to “My Applications.”
Select “Submit New Application.”
Select “Blank Application" and then "Application" from the drop down menu.
Fill out all necessary information, then click to submit your application.

3. Apply for an Open Position
After your application is submitted, you can browse available positions and apply to any that align with your interests and qualifications.
Following these steps ensures your application is successfully submitted and ready for review.

*You will also be asked to upload required documents to complete your application. We encourage applicants to submit all requested documents as soon as possible to ensure timely review.*

Once your application is complete, administrators throughout Fayette County Public Schools will be able to review your qualifications for current openings. Please select all position(s) that interest you and visit our website regularly for additional employment opportunities.

YOSS is a widely used platform and as such it is likely you have accounts at multiple school districts. This is no problem! The information grid below will tell you what is needed to assist you in getting logged in.

First, please note that the main login page that you have visited is for use when you are wanting to login to a school district that you are currently or have been employed with in the past. If you have never worked at the school district you are wanting to access, you should create a profile and login directly at their publicly advertised candidate page.

Below, you will find all organizations for which your demographic information matches. First you will find the organization’s name followed by the email on file that is required for use when logging in. Please note that some districts allow you to change your primary email and others do not.

Next is your registration status. If it says No, you will need to click on Register As A New User on the main login page to register for that organization’s account. If you are already registered, you should use the email on file to login.

Then you will see if the account is an employee (including previous employment) or candidate. Remember, if it is candidate, you must go to the candidate dashboard to login. The organization’s link can be found in the Actions section.

The Access Allowed tab is applicable if you are terminated. Often, HR disables your ability to login once terminated. If you are trying to login to an organization and Access Allowed is Disabled, you must contact the HR Department to allow access.

Below you will find a list of all organizations that use YOSS for which you are listed as a current or prior employee. Please click on the Register button for the organization that you wish to register for.
If your email is missing, you may enter it to continue. If your email is incorrect, you may request for it to be changed. Please note: Not all organizations allow end-users to change their emails. If YOSS will not allow you to change your email, you must contact the administrator at the organization in question. The grid below will let you know if the organization allows emails to be edited. If they are, sometimes approval must happen before the change takes effect.
