Position: Special Education - Inclusion - Jeff Davis Primary

Primary Responsibilities of Position:
• Familiar with GSE curriculum and possess an in-depth knowledge of content in field of certification
• Knowledge of techniques for integrating curriculum, JDCSs policies, and effective instructional practices
• Ability to understand the teaching/learning process
• Ability to infuse technology into instruction to increase student learning • Ability to work effectively with administrators, colleagues, central office, and school based staff, students, parents, and community
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Hold a clear renewable certificate in the area specified above in Special Education General Curriculum (Consultative).
• Demonstrated ability to relate and motivate all students with respect to learning styles to make learning meaningful, effective, contextual, and involving positive interactions for the ongoing intellectual development of young minds.
• Ability to successfully integrate technology into the classroom while engaging students.
