Position: Technology Specialist

Primary Responsibilities of Position:
1. Assists teachers in overcoming technology problems and promotes integrating technology into classroom activities.
2. Directly responsible for the record keeping and inventory management of technology equipment.
3. Directly responsible for the annual State technology inventory report.
4. Provides technical assistance on troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, telecommunications and operational/process problems.
5. Help manage Google Admin Console and maintain Chromebook fleet for the district.
Qualifications:
- Post secondary training in a computer-related field is recommended.
- One or more years hands-on administration experience in a LAN/WAN environment, Microsoft, A+, and Linux certifications preferred.
- Two years of job-related experience in a computer-related field.
- Must be a self-starter and must be able to adapt quickly to new technology, technological tools, and techniques.
- Must be able to prioritize several projects simultaneously and be able to meet scheduled project deadlines.
