NOTICE OF VACANCY

Date of Notice: February 11, 2025

Position: Director of Student Services– 230 Days

Start Date:  July 1, 2025

Primary Responsibilities of Position:

• Coordinates all student services with district personnel as well as school personnel
• Coordinates student services with outside agencies
• Serves as the district liaison for all mental health care providers, school nurses, and school counselors
• Furnishes all information and submits all forms required by the GaDOE by specified dates in regards to accountability 
• Manages the upkeep and accuracy of the district’s strategic plan
• Serves as the Strategic Waivers contact and lead for the Jdistrict
• Serves as the Accreditation coordinator
• Serves as the DOE Accountability Contact for the district 
• Annually reviews BOE policy and procedures to ensure they are up to date
• Works with principals on understanding all data for CCRPI
• Remain informed of current issues and developments in assessment and accountability through conferences, related meetings, and relevant research 
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent

Director of Student Services Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate 
• A Master’s or Specialist’s degree in Educational Leadership
• Five years of successful school leadership experience
