Position: Family and Consumer Science Teacher, Jeff Davis High

Start Date: July 29, 2024

Primary Responsibilities of Position:

• Knowledge of techniques for integrating curriculum and effective instructional practices in the FACS classroom
• Ability to understand the teaching/learning process
• Ability to infuse technology into instruction to increase student learning
• Ability to work effectively with administrators, colleagues, central office, and school based staff, students, parents, and community
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Science
• Valid Teaching certificate 
• Demonstrated ability to relate and motivate all students with respect to learning styles to make learning meaningful, effective, contextual, and involving positive interactions for the ongoing intellectual development of young minds.
