QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Eligibility for a Georgia Paraprofessional certificate. 

2. Associate’s degree, 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours from an accredited post-secondary institution or  five (5) successful years as a classroom paraprofessional. 

3. Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

4. Computer proficiency to include spreadsheets, charts, graphs and word processing.

5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with teachers, administrators and other stakeholders

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate screening to identify at-risk students. Work with students providing supplemental instruction and monitoring computer-based instruction. Regularly monitor student progress and prepare reports.
